Role Summary To create the product line to achieve overall brand image and objectives in line with the design direction Key Job Responsibilities Research on latest design trends and analyse key trends as per seasonal and brand requirements Ensure that key trends are well captured close to season and there is a quick turnaround of the product Conduct market research periodically Build on the direction for theme, concept and designs for a complete story Introduce new techniques, textures, constructions, base fabrics etc., as per calendar Develop colour pallet based on seasons where options are given by the buyers based on budgets Prepare and present final range presentation Create Techpacks with all detailed information Sample development with Product team and Vendors Approval of design translations in terms of colour cuttings, print strike offs, styling, fit, trims etc. along with manager Co-ordinate with the VM for the display of merchandise on the floor Ensure adherence to business process calendar Understand the brands performance in the earlier season as per feedback from retail team and rework on the design inputs for the forthcoming season PLM uploads and franchise related uploads Conceptualize photoshoot as per brand requirements Possess good understanding of the key requirements of the brands and ensure no overlaps in design concepts
