Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Business Analyst to support our business analysis and project delivery activities. The role will involve assisting with requirements gathering, preparing functional documentation, coordinating with development teams and clients, and supporting project tracking and testing activities.
The ideal candidate should have good communication and analytical skills, a basic understanding of software development processes, and strong documentation capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements.
Coordinate with clients, business stakeholders, and development teams to clarify requirements and project expectations.
Prepare and maintain functional documents, requirement specifications, user stories, process flows, meeting minutes, and other project documentation.
Assist Business Analysts and Project Managers in tracking project activities, deliverables, timelines, and action items.
Participate in client meetings and internal discussions and document key requirements and decisions.
Support the development team by providing requirement clarifications and ensuring a clear understanding of functional expectations.
Assist in preparing test scenarios, test cases, and test data based on business requirements.
Participate in functional testing and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Track and report issues, coordinate with relevant teams for resolution, and assist in validating fixes.
Maintain project documentation and ensure that requirements and related documents are kept up to date.
Support Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, as required.
Perform other business analysis and project coordination activities as assigned.
Required Skills Qualifications
1 2 years of experience in Business Analysis, Project Coordination, Software/IT Projects, or a related role.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Basic understanding of business analysis concepts and software development life cycle (SDLC).
Good documentation and report-writing skills.
Proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into clear and structured documentation.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
