Job Description
Lead the engineering team inclusive of hardware, mechanical for specific projects.
Key duties/ responsibilities
Develop the hardware specifications and lead the entire development cycle for multiple projects.
Customer engagement through frequent communication on emails and weekly/calls on need basis.
Mentoring and guiding the team of engineers
Delivering the projects on time with quality
Gate keeping of effort and schedule of projects.
Mandatory Skills
Expert in using Altium.
Expertise in OrCAD would be a plus.
Hands on schematic capture, Library creation (schematic / Layout) and other layout activities
IOT and battery management/estimation
Experience in microcontroller and microprocessor-based designs.
Experience in high-speed designs.
Design for Certifications (EMI/EMC, FCC, UL, etc.)
Experience with equipment power and thermal dissipation calculations.
Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)
Shall have a good understanding of PCB fabrication and assembly processes.
Experience in designs with small form factors.
Experience in working with different processor/controller architectures.
Expertise in E-CAD/M-CAD integration
Design and bring-up/troubleshooting skill.
Reverse Engineering
Hardware Architecture Design Project Proposal Creation
Project Management (JIRA)
Preferred Skills
Firmware and IoT solutions knowledge would be a plus.
Experience in RF is an added advantage.
Experience in Mechanical design.
Experience in IEC 60601-1-X.
