Medical Coding CDI - Clinical SME

Job Purpose Scope Identifying and auditing the coding/documentation deficiencies within patient records Duties Responsibilities Reading and analysing patient records Determining the correct codes for patient records Identifying and auditing the coding/documentation deficiencies within patient records Analyzing and compiling chart information for research purposes Preparing educational materials for the Physicians Analyzing and compiling information for research purposes Maintaining patient confidentiality and information securit Medical Graduates with minimum experience of 2 to 4 years in Medical coding mainly ED/Outpatient and Urgent Care. Clinical documentation improvement experience is added advantage. Medical graduate-MBBS, BHMS, BAMS or BUMS Coding Certification is Mandatory (AAPC/AHIMA) is preferred.
