Medical Coding - Senior Coder

Job Purpose Scope Assign codes for each medical procedures a patient receives Duties Responsibilities Coding surgery reports 90000 range along with minor procedures done Need to complete all the EM cases on daily basis. Cross-checking the auditor s feedback on daily basis to improve the quality. Adhere to the clients policies. Knowledge Prior experience in EM coding is a must (preferably as per CMS guidelines). Knowledge should be as per HIPAA standards. Experience Science graduates with a minimum experience of 2 to 4 years in Medical coding. Should have coded at least 60-70 charts/day with the company expected quality standards (96 and above) Education Any since background. Preferably B/ M.Pharm, BPT, alternative medicine doctor. Coding Certification is Mandatory (AAPC/AHIMA).
