Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented individual with a background in Nanotechnology, Instrumentation, or Metallurgy to fill the role of Business Development Executive. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this position will be instrumental in driving the growth and expansion of our business in the dental equipment manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate should be proactive, resourceful, and capable of independently executing business development initiatives while working closely with our manufacturing and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development Process
Lead business development efforts to promote our dental products. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to foster business growth.
Technical Scouting Vendor Relations
Collaborate with suppliers and vendors of machines and parts used in the manufacturing of dental equipment. Understand their requirements and showcase our technical capabilities. Ensure site visits to our manufacturing facilities to give vendors insights into our engineering and production processes.
Vendor Conversion
Leverage your engineering background to communicate the technical benefits of working with our company, addressing any technical concerns or objections from vendors. Foster long-term partnerships through effective negotiations and relationship-building.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with the engineering, production, and R D teams to understand their suggestions and requirements for the development of dental equipment. Ensure alignment between business development efforts and the technical needs of the manufacturing team.
Product and Market Strategy
Contribute to the development of strategic business plans, informed by a deep understanding of the machines and technologies used in the industry. Stay updated on market trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to identify new business opportunities.
International Expos and Events
Represent the company at international expos and conferences to showcase our technical capabilities, explore new markets, and identify potential clients and vendors. Be flexible and willing to travel Domestically Internationally as necessary to support business goals.
Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Nanotechnology, Instrumentation, Metallurgy, or related fields. An MBA or a master s degree is an added advantage.
Strong understanding of manufacturing technologies and equipment used in the dental equipment sector.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate technical details to both non-technical and technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, driving results and initiatives.
Willingness to travel extensively, both domestically and internationally, as required.
Work Experience
0 3 years of experience in business development or a related role, preferably in the medical equipment or manufacturing sector.
Skills Required
Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English (knowledge of Hindi is an advantage).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment testing.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
