Job Description
The Business Development Manager at Simplicity develops effective relationships with client prospects during the sales process and is adept at client liaison and communication and possesses excellent negotiation.
S/he would be expected to establish ties with prospects to be able to convince them of the Simplicity offerings and convert them to clients.
Job Responsibilities
To prospect, acquire and retain clients
Develop and cultivate leads, using multiple sources including cold calling, dormant and prospective client companies, and in-bound enquiries
Create and manage sales campaigns
Develop and strengthen prospect relationships and build new relationships via client referrals, centers of influence, networking, and other business development opportunities.
Able to network and create new opportunities to acquire profile clients including planning events, seminars, and workshops where such prospects get detailed information of Simplicity offerings
Able to present in a qualified and credible manner at industry, professional or client seminars on the financial planning and investment management process, client issues and advise in general.
Track and report on business development efforts such as prospect lists and campaigns.
Complete initial fact finding on new clients for the purpose of analysis and recommendations for preparing a detailed financial plan.
Ensure all existing clients are met and/or communicated with according to defined client service standards
Ensure customer calling (outbound) is actively done to share ideas, research and Simplicity views to build AUMs.
Review their investment needs to determine whether market changes, life changes, economic changes, or financial performance indicate a need for portfolio reassessment
Ensure the customer base is widened to have lesser dependencies on few customers
