Job Description
The Sales Marketing Manager Feature Film Division will play a pivotal role in managing Toonz Media Group s global sales, marketing, and promotional activities for the feature film division. Based out of the company s office and reporting directly to the Head of the Division, this role demands a proactive, creative, and highly organized professional with a solid understanding of the entertainment industry and international film markets. The candidate will work closely with internal teams, manage client relationships, oversee marketing campaigns, coordinate major market participation, and support strategic sales efforts across animated and live-action feature titles.
Key Responsibilities
Meeting Coordination Client Communication
Manage and organize meetings across major global film markets and events such as EFM, Cannes, AFM, and AFT.
Communicate professionally with clients to confirm appointments, follow up on discussions, and ensure timely and courteous responses.
Prepare and maintain well-structured meeting schedules, agendas, and follow-up action lists to keep everything on track.
Represent the company professionally in client interactions, both virtually and in the future person at markets and festivals.
Collaborate closely with internal departments to ensure smooth coordination of meetings, materials, and deliverables.
Sales Support Marketing Operations
Develop and update sales decks, pitch materials, AVAILS, and buyer presentations for animation and live-action feature titles.
Plan, support, and execute marketing campaigns, email communications, and promotional initiatives targeting global distributors and buyers.
Maintain and manage client databases, buyer lists, and communication logs efficiently and accurately.
Collaborate with internal teams to track deals, follow up on fee collections, and monitor content delivery progress.
Develop and implement digital marketing and B2B social media strategies (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.) to enhance visibility at global markets.
Create and manage digital mailers, newsletters, and e-blasts to promote new titles, festivals, or market participation.
Coordinate with creative teams to design and update marketing materials, including posters, trailers, and digital content.
Prepare investor or buyer pitch decks with strong visual storytelling and compelling communication.
Event Market Coordination
Handle logistics, scheduling, and preparation for international film markets, including meeting table bookings, client invitations, and follow-ups.
Prepare market-specific sales kits and promotional materials, ensuring brand consistency and timely availability.
Liaise with international clients and partners attending film and animation markets to facilitate meetings and maintain ongoing relationships.
Work with internal design and production teams to ensure all marketing collateral is aligned with company standards and creative direction.
Administrative Reporting Duties
Compile and present weekly and monthly sales updates, track marketing performance, and maintain accurate records.
Prepare detailed post-market reports highlighting outcomes, client feedback, and next steps.
Manage sensitive and executive-level correspondence with discretion and professionalism.
Maintain well-organized digital and physical filing systems for marketing, sales, and client documentation.
