Mechanical Design Engineer

We re seeking a versatile Mechanical Design Engineer to join our innovative team. This role combines 3D design, 3D printing, prototyping, and hands-on fabrication(cutting, welding, etc.) skills to bring cutting-edge ideas to life. Key Responsibilities Create detailed product and part designs using CAD and 3D modeling software Develop and optimize 3D printed parts for machine prototyping Design and implement DC motor and gear systems in prototype machines Fabricate functional designs using sheet metal (primarily SS 304) Perform hands-on fabrication tasks including cutting, bending, welding, and grinding Required Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Proficiency in CAD and 3D modeling software Experience with 3D printing technology and designing for 3D printing Understanding of DC motors and gear systems Hands-on experience with sheet metal fabrication, particularly SS 304 Practical skills in metal cutting, bending, welding, and grinding Ability to translate designs into functional prototypes Desired Skills Experience in product development and prototyping Knowledge of manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability Familiarity with rapid prototyping techniques Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities If you re passionate about bringing innovative designs to life through both digital and hands-on methods, we want to hear from you.
