Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Accounts Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 - 3 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial management. As an Accounts Executive, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of our organization, managing a team of accountants, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. You will play a critical role in financial planning, reporting, and analysis to support the company s growth and success.
ACCOUNTS MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Management Oversee all financial activities, including financial statement preparation, budgeting, and forecasting. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data.
Team Management Lead and manage the accounting team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
Compliance Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and tax laws. Keep up-to-date with changes in accounting and financial regulations.
Audit and Taxation Coordinate and liaise with external auditors and tax authorities. Prepare and review financial documents for audits and tax filings.
Strategic Planning Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies, identify cost-saving opportunities, and make recommendations for improved financial performance.
Financial Analysis Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making, cost reduction, and revenue enhancement.
Cash Management Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and investment strategies.
Process Improvement Continuously review and enhance accounting and financial processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Risk Management Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Reporting Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key performance metrics, financial trends, and variances.
Documentation Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
ACCOUNTS MANAGER REQUIREMENTS
Education Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional accounting designation (e.g., CPA) is a plus.
Experience Minimum of 1 years of progressive accounting and financial management experience
Strong Knowledge In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements. Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is essential.
Leadership Skills Proven experience in managing and leading a team of accountants, with the ability to mentor, motivate, and drive results.
Financial Analysis Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. Ability to provide strategic financial guidance to senior management.
Communication Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with internal teams, external stakeholders, and auditors.
Software Proficiency Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of ERP systems is a plus.
