NXS Engineer -L3 Support

Review Customer HLD and LLDs and plan the on-boarding of the Customer Solutions support with a detailed report to assess feasibility, risks and constraints. Work closely with L1 Team to assess the Problems raised by the Global customers and address the problem resolution by going on call with Customer using virtual meeting tools like MS Teams, Google meet. Create Task implementation Documents (or MOP Method of Procedures) to perform known, planned activities like patching as well as for resolving the problems in real time. Suggest work-around by researching and consulting the various OEM knowledge bases and Create Root cause Analysis Reports (RCA) for problems that are provided a permanent fix. Prepare a multi-OEM Hybrid and Mult-cloud Solutions to address specific client requirement for Private, Hybrid and mult-cloud infrastructure. Create a Bill of Quantity (BOQ) and Bill of Materials (BOM) to deliver the whole solution by working with internal and external SMEs. Check for multiple product options by referring to VMware, Cisco, Nutanix, AWS, Azure, GCP and other hyperscalers and any other OEMs Product Catalogues and advice suitable software features for specific customer requirements. Writing updating technical documentation, with Technical and solution specification, IP schemas, as well as preparing reports. Recommending and implementing improvements to processes and technologies. Keeping informed of advancements in the Virtualization, Networking, Security, Cloud, Database, Storage, Backup etc. Products and Solutions across various Technologies development. ( Advanced and Emerging) Train, help, and support other team members who can off-load Level 2/3 from repetitive tasks, as well perform higher level / complex tasks with practice. Participate in workshops with other technical teams to provide guidance on the use of overlay network with DR. Participates in short- and long-term planning efforts with stakeholders and IT groups. Identifies and communicates how IT infrastructure solutions can support the achievement of short- and long-range business goals. Works with analysts, architecture, and stakeholders to understand business needs. Leads the evaluation of technical requirements for projects to determine the impact to the infrastructure including equipment redundancy and capacity requirements. Ensures completeness of technical requirements and functional architecture analysis for the design and implementation of system business solutions. Determines systems specifications, input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility. Explains to non-SMEs how the proposed solution will support their requirements. Ensures infrastructure solutions are aligned to the business strategy and direction. Directs efforts to demonstrate that information systems are compliant with appropriate corporate policies, industry standards, government regulations, and contractual requirements. Performs or coordinates Level 3/4 incident assessment and resolution on infrastructure solutions. Coordinates problem management and resolution among a variety of functional areas and provides subject matter expertise support for diagnosing and resolving problem. Recommends procedures and controls for problem resolution or creates temporary solutions until permanent solutions can be implemented. Works with auditors and security groups to ensure adherence to governance, regulations, and compliance with policies and procedures. Technical Skills and responsibilities Providing security and network support for physical networking and firewall services. Ensuring network reliability and availability through well-planned and implemented solutions Delivering network and security infrastructures Developing, maintaining, and supporting networks in NSX/NSX-T Implementing networking and VXLAN technologies Monitoring the automation of network deployment and configuration, along with the integration of infrastructure (computer/storage) automation Configuring and monitoring network security layers Monitoring integration with other software-defined networking technologies Improving network manageability and scalability Supporting the operations and maintenance of the VMware virtual infrastructure Maintaining VMware vROps (ARIA) and reporting for confirmation, troubleshooting, and capacity planning. Improving customized outlines using NSX, vRA(ARIA), and vRO (ARIA) to automate and simplify tasks Duplicating virtual machines and server appliances. Backing up virtual machines and supporting virtual machine infrastructure. We re looking for someone with Diploma with 10 years, bachelor s in computer science, Information Systems, or another related field. Or equivalent work experience. Typically has 12 to 15 years of IT and business/industry work experience, with knowledge of one process/service. NSX T, NSX-T Edge NSX Firewall, NSX Load Balancer VMware Cloud Foundation vCenter and ESXi vRealize Network Insight vRealize Log Insight Need to work 24/7 shifts. Strong automation scripting experience in Python, Powershell, or equivalent. Experience with Agile development methodologies. Excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to stay focused on completing tasks and meeting goals within a busy workspace.
