Job Description
Provides first level supervision to the team of Professionals in Applications Development sub-function. The team supervisor s focus is on mentoring, coaching, coordination as well as providing technical leadership. Leads teams in the design and development of software applications or specialized utility programs that will enhance the organization s/client s ability to achieve strategic goals and targets.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Ensure smooth implementation of Scrum and Agile principles within the scrum team.
Responsible to ensure that any roadblocks the scrum team cannot remove themselves are smoothed out. Shield the team to ensure a successful sprint delivery
Promotes Agile ideas beyond his/her own team - Change-Agent role
Ensures teams continuous improvement in adherence to defined organizational goals (retrospective, CFD monitoring, minimize WIP, increases team productivity, visible team work, increases flow, ensures pull system).
Master Scrum Artifacts, NICE Agile House NICE Agile Core Pillars and foster them within the team. Coordinate and facilitate Scrum meetings such as daily standup, sprint planning, release planning, retrospective. Coordinate dependencies with external teams and other scrum masters. Promote an empowered, self-management, collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment that fosters ownership,
creativity and innovation. Support, educate, engage mentor the Team members (including PO) managers other stakeholders to follow Agile principles and clear responsibilities they carry Acts as management contact (e.g. for status)
Ensure team backlog is ready (e.g. groomed), available and provided by Product Owner before sprint starts. Organize and facilitate Scrum meetings, record team progress, Ensure adherence to Definition of Done. Monitor team retrospective items to ensure continues improvement
