Job Title BI Solution Architect
Location Faridabad or Chennai or Hyderabad
Shift Timings 1 00 pm-10 00 pm
Job Responsibilities
Provides functional, technical and architectural leadership in creating and improving the design of BI systems.
Drive the adoption of best practices around work with product and engineering team to drive the product vision and technology road map
Will be responsible for scaling, performance and quality of the Product
Understand Business Requirements/One-Liners and translate them into Technology Requirements
Implement architecture best practices, repeatable and scalable frameworks
Design and Implement Data Platform, make appropriate changes to the Data Infrastructure as it evolves
Design data models for high volume data management, real-time and distributed data process
Design and Develop Pipeline for Data Ingestion. Identify and resolve issues in data pipeline
Implement tools for data governance, security and quality as part of the platform
Automate deployment of the data platform on Public/Private Cloud Environments
Iincluding operating systems, application servers, relational databases, security architectures, and networking and Performing architect-level design for large scale end-user implementations.
Prior experience in working with Agile software methodologies (XP, Scrum)
Experience creating and consuming RESTful web services
Experience in Spark, MapReduce and associated Big Data platformsnitiate technical sessions by providing detailed product architecture overviews and determining design, integration, and development plans
Research and resolve installation, configuration, deployment, and upgrade issues
Assist with architecture, design, development, integration, performance tuning, rollout, support, and optimization of customers implementation
Develop sample applications demonstrating the use of Pentaho product s advanced functionality and APIs.
Required Skills
10 years total experience and 5 years of hands-on experience specifically working with Business Intelligence, Data Architecture and Data Integration Tools and Development Processes.
Successfully conceptualized, created and delivered 2-3 BI based projects
Experience with ETL processes and tools (e.g. Pentaho, Microstrategy, Talend, Informatica, etc.)
Experience with standard Enterprise Data Warehousing, OLTP, OLAP, BI, and Reporting Design Patterns.
Core infrastructure technologies
Experience in NOSQL (MongoDB)
Experience in RDBMS (MSSQL, MYSQL, PostGreSQL, Interbase)
Experience in installation, configuration and administration of PDI and BI tools
Experience working in AWS environment - must have worked with RedShift
Experience with technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, HBase, Hive, Impala, etc.
Experience with containerization (Docker, Vagrant, etc.)
Pentaho Solution Architect certification
Multiple projects with Pentaho implementations
Integrations with EDW
Experience in HA, DR
Solid experience in Pentaho PDI, Analytics and CDE
