Job Description

Way.com is building the super app for car owners one place to park, insure, wash, fuel, charge, finance, repair and get roadside help for your car. We have been featured for two consecutive years (2022 and 2023) in a16z s Marketplace 100, the list of the largest consumer-facing marketplace startups and private companies (https //a16z.com/marketplace-100/). Way Repair Tech, our AI-powered shop management and growth platform for independent repair shops, is a recipient of the 2026 MOTOR Top 20 Award from MOTOR Information Systems, which recognizes innovative solutions advancing the automotive aftermarket. What makes Way unusual is the breadth of the problem space. We run eight consumer verticals on the Way app and web, a growing portfolio of B2B SaaS products that help parking operators, car washes, repair shops, insurance agencies and roadside providers run their businesses, and B2B2C experiences that connect the two, where the tools we give our partners power the experience their customers get. Very few product teams get to work across all three models at once. About the Role As a Product Manager at Way, you will own a product area end to end the strategy, the roadmap, the launches and the numbers. You will work closely with engineering, design, data, marketing and operations, and you will have real influence on how the business grows. We are also becoming an AI-native product organization. That means two things. First, the products we build increasingly use AI and LLMs at their core, from intelligent pricing and personalization to agentic workflows for our partners. Second, the way we build is changing our PMs use AI every day to research, prototype, analyze data and ship faster. You will help shape both. This is a role for someone who wants their work to be visible in the business, not buried in a backlog. What You ll Do Own a product area end to end. Define the vision, long-term roadmap and success metrics, and be accountable for outcomes such as growth, conversion, retention, revenue and partner adoption. Build across B2C, B2B and B2B2C. Design consumer experiences, SaaS workflows for business customers, and the connected experiences between them. Ship AI-powered features. Identify where AI and LLMs can create real value for users and partners, define the use case and quality bar, work with engineering on evaluation, and iterate based on how it performs in production. Use AI in how you work. Use AI tools to accelerate discovery, competitive research, PRDs, prototypes and data analysis, and help raise the bar for the team. Discover and validate. Work with data and user research to understand customer and partner behavior, turn insights into hypotheses, and run experiments (including A/B tests) to decide what to build. Drive execution. Own and prioritize the backlog, write clear requirements, and work with engineering and design to deliver high-quality releases on time. Take it to market. Partner with marketing, sales and operations on launches, adoption and enablement, including product documentation and training for internal teams and partners. Know the market. Track competitors and best-in-class products across mobility, marketplaces and vertical SaaS, and bring those lessons back into the roadmap. Align stakeholders. Build shared understanding of priorities with leadership, internal teams and external partners, and communicate clearly on trade-offs and progress. What You ll Bring 5 years of product management experience, with a track record of shipping products that moved business metrics. Experience building consumer (B2C) products, and the curiosity to work across B2B and B2B2C products as well. Hands-on use of AI tools in your day-to-day work, and a practical understanding of how AI/LLM features are built, evaluated and improved. Strong analytical skills comfortable with funnels, cohorts and experiment results, and able to query and interpret data yourself (SQL or analytics tools). Experience defining roadmaps, running experiments and turning learnings into product decisions. Good product instincts balanced with data, and the ability to make sound calls in ambiguous situations. Working knowledge of Agile development and enough technical understanding to have credible conversations with engineers about systems, APIs and trade-offs. Excellent written and verbal communication, including clear specs and crisp presentations. Bachelor s degree in Engineering an MBA from a reputed institution is preferred.
