Job Description
-Manufacturing, repair, maintenance, and try-out of press tools with minimum downtime
-Hands-on experience in high-speed stamping tools including progressive, compound, blanking, piercing, draw, trim, coining, indexing notching tools
-Attend press breakdowns, identify root causes, and perform in-press or tool room repairs
-Operate conventional machines Milling (M1TR), Surface Cylindrical Grinding, Radial Drilling
-Handle carbide punch and die, routine servicing, and re-grinding of tools
-Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD T, and use measuring instruments accurately
-Conduct tool trials, buy-offs, documentation, and spares management
-Analyze tool design, suggest modifications, and implement improvements to reduce rejections and improve productivity
-Maintain 5S standards in tool room and assembly areas
-Ensure quality compliance, meet production targets, and follow safety guidelines
Other Skills
-AutoCAD or any CAD software knowledge
-Strong troubleshooting, analytical, planning, and communication skills
-Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet timelines
-Team player with capability to train and support technicians
