Engineering - Vice President

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Engineering to lead our India-based engineering organization. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day engineering execution, driving delivery excellence, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The ideal candidate is a strong delivery leader and people manager who can effectively coordinate across multiple teams and functions while maintaining high standards in execution, communication, and team engagement. Key Responsibilities 1. Engineering Delivery Execution Oversee daily engineering operations including sprint execution, scrum ceremonies, and stand-ups Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of ongoing projects and tasks Maintain visibility into all active workstreams and proactively identify risks, delays, and dependencies Drive accountability across teams to meet delivery commitments 2. Leadership Team Management Provide functional leadership to engineering managers, lead engineers, and development teams Foster a collaborative, high-performance, and accountable engineering culture Act as a strong people manager, supporting team members in both professional growth and personal concerns Mentor and guide leadership within the engineering organization 3. Cross-Functional Coordination Collaborate closely with product, architecture, and business teams to ensure alignment on priorities and execution Support architectural and design discussions, providing oversight across technologies Ensure best practices in engineering processes, quality, and operational efficiency Engage with business owners and stakeholders, providing timely updates on progress, priorities, and risks 4. Technology Oversight Provide leadership across a diverse technology stack, including Backend Java, Node.js Frontend Angular, React Mobile iOS, Android Databases MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB Infrastructure DevOps 5. Reporting Communication Provide daily updates to leadership on progress, risks, and key developments Deliver structured weekly reports covering Project status Key tasks and milestones Ownership and accountability Risks and mitigation plans Support executive-level reporting
