Job Summary
We are looking for a highly experienced and strategic Business Development Manager to lead and drive large-scale business growth across assigned states. This is a senior-level role focused on end-to-end team leadership, business expansion, and revenue generation through structured execution.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing the entire field hierarchy, from Sales Managers to branch-level teams, ensuring strong team performance, branch development, and consistent achievement of business targets.
The role involves developing new states, setting up new branches, and strengthening existing operations. Bagnan office will serve as reporting and administrative bases, while the actual work will be across assigned states. Extensive travel and temporary stays will be required. Travel expenses will be reimbursed as per company policy.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the complete field structure from Sales Managers to branch-level teams.
Drive overall revenue generation through effective team leadership and performance management.
Develop new states and establish branch networks as per business expansion plans.
Strengthen and scale existing branches and teams to improve productivity and output.
Ensure achievement of business targets through structured execution and monitoring.
Supervise and guide Sales Managers, District Managers, Branch Managers and field teams to enhance performance and accountability.
Build strong leadership pipelines within the team for long-term organizational growth.
Monitor multi-location operations and ensure efficiency across all levels.
Identify growth opportunities and implement strategies for business expansion.
Coordinate with internal departments for smooth operational and business alignment.
Travel extensively across assigned states for team supervision, branch development, and business growth.
Prepare and present performance reports and strategic updates to senior management.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in Microfinance or Fintech industry.
Graduate in any discipline.
Proven experience in handling multi-level teams (Sales Managers to branch-level teams).
Strong experience in business development, branch expansion, and revenue management.
Experience in state-level or multi-state operations will be an advantage.
Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work in a high-pressure, target-driven, and dynamic environment.
