Job Description
Government IT Infrastructure / Cloud Computing
Manage and provide operational support for state cloud infrastructure across various government departments.
Deploy, configure, and administer virtual machines using Red Hat Virtualization (RHV) and VMware
Perform system tuning, resource optimization, and maintain high availability across two data centers.
Monitor infrastructure health and performance using tools such as Nagios, Grafana, Darpan, and vROps.
Conduct daily health checks, including storage/log monitoring and backup validation
. Handle VMware-related tasks such as provisioning, decommissioning, reconfiguration, and incident response.
Perform firmware and BIOS patching on HPE, Dell, and Cisco server hardware. Administer Linux and windows server environments
Configure and manage virtual machines and templates in RHV.
Provide 24x7 system support, including responding to critical escalations.
Follow ITIL-based processes for incident, change, and documentation management.
Possess working knowledge of OpenShift Virtualization, with familiarity in concepts and tools related to VMware to OpenShift migration.
