Lead Data Engineer

We are looking for 5 years experienced candidates for this role. Job Description Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices. Proficiency in Python, SQL for data manipulation and query optimization. Woking knowledge of ETL and Data Platforms with SAP data (SAP being the source for OLAP) Knowledge of Snowflake s architecture, features, and best practices. Proficiency in designing and implementing data solutions using Snowflake Lead the end-to-end SAP to Snowflake data migration strategy ensuring scalability, performance, and data integrity. Identify migration risks early and implement mitigation strategies. Establish data quality, validation, and reconciliation frameworks to ensure high trust in migrated data. Responsibilities include Design and develop data pipelines to provide high-performance, live query access. Involving in data exploitation and the development of analytical data models with SAP data using AtScale semantic layer. Work with the broader data team to integrate with existing data infrastructure and tools. Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure data quality, consistency, and timely delivery. Collaborate with data architects and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Optimize and tune SQL queries and data pipelines for performance and efficiency. Implement data governance and best practices for data quality, security, and compliance within Snowflake databases Own the end-to-end SAP to Snowflake migration roadmap, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Define data architecture standards, modeling principles, and engineering best practices for the Snowflake platform Proactively identify migration risks, manage dependencies, and optimize Snowflake usage to control compute costs.
