Position Associate Subject Matter Expert (AIP Checks) Location Chennai (In-office Role) Role Overview Check the manuscripts that are in Acceptance in Principle stage. Verify completeness and quality of submission. Once received the manuscript pass their in-house checks, aid Editor-in-Chief in ensuring that the manuscript is acceptable for publication. The Editor will make a final decision as to whether the manuscript can be published once the checks are completed. Accepted manuscripts are then passed to AIP Checks team for the following checks. Prompt checking of manuscripts under Acceptance in Principle (AIP) Clear notes made to inform the Editor in chief if any Journal requirement is missed by the authors. All notes to Editor should be clear and understandable in the opinion of Robert Irvine Check all figures, tables, videos, and supplementary files provided and cited and figure files are of correct format and high quality and Graphical Abstracts are provided. Checks for necessary statements that are required according to the publishers guidelines. Abstract and references are included and in the correct format. Keywords are included. All the authors affiliations include the required information. No changes to Author list and Author Contribution Statement. Check requested ethics/ copyright corrections are addressed.
