Roles and Responsibilities
Developing a material coding and cataloguing for engineering spares
Establishing codification and cataloguing methodology
Material Cataloguing, Data cleansing, standardization, enrichment, and de- duplication, create/update master data in SAP-MM Module (MM01/MM02)
Classifying the materials according to Data Dictionary
Analysing the Data - Standardization of Spares Data-Assign Noun/Modifier to the existing materials -e- cataloguing-Data Cleansing
Coding and converting the clients existing materials catalogue into a structured manner
Duplicate resolution of the existing items
Material Standardization as per Clients Required Standard (UNSPSC)
International Classes and attributes of material based on their Master templates in Online Database (eOTD) Dictionary and other Dictionary of Material Master
Continuous review of materials inventory to improve interchangeability, generalization and standardization (Referring e-Spir, and Legacy document, existing product Catalogue)
Meetings with client discussion and follow their suggestion about Material Cataloguing
Preparing complete list of Master Data as a main source of information, which must be confirmed by physical stock counting
Responsible for coordinating all aspects of material flow and part delivery within the organization
Capable of training and leading teams for ERP Maintenance and Materials data preparation and Performing Data Analysis for gap identification in the system
Capable of understanding current methodologies, Tools, Techniques and related Industrial standards
Participate in safety and control activities related to storage/handling of materials
Monitor inventories and material flows which impact assigned warehouses and facilitate the material flow into/out of the warehouse in most efficient manner.
