Job Description
Monitor network and respond to alerts
Troubleshoot and resolve server related issues
Manage Database environment
Upgrade and rebuild systems and perform regular security and software level updates
Evaluate and implement technologies that improve efficiency, performance and reliability
Developing and maintaining scripts to automate deployment and other tasks
Build and configure components in an AWS/Google cloud platform
Implement infrastructure as code for various cloud platforms, from planned architectures
Implement monitoring and logging solutions for different technology stacks or container orchestration platforms
Implement Continuous Delivery solutions and helping engineer team automate various stages of their deployments
and testing processes
Understand containers and how they fit into professional development cycles as build artifacts.
Have general cloud ops knowledge with at least one provider, private or public, such as attached volume lifecycle,
auto scaling, cloud-config, security, instance lifecycle, etc
Aid engineer team in addressing challenges due to lack of modern DevOps practices, help to recommend DevOps
solutions in line with the engineer team s goals
Technical Skills
DevOps technical quality control processes, artifacts, and tools.
1 years of experience with Unix and Linux administration required
Hands-on experience with deployment automation and automation tools
Solid working experience with Git and a distributed source control system such as GitHub or BitBucket
Familiarity with Containerization concepts like Docker, Kubernetes, and PaaS services on AWS
Experience with the implementation and/or operations of medium to large-scale enterprise cloud infrastructures
Knowledge of cloud networking architecture, cloud operations, security, automation and orchestration
