Required Skills
Functional Area Analytic Business Intelligence
Candidate must have experience on Pentaho BI platform and its various components
Must have experience on Pentaho CDE and CDF tools
Hands on SQL writing experience, MDX is an added advantage
Should have dashboard designing experience
Exposure to Pentaho Mondrian, ETL Components
HTML, CSS, Java Script knowledge is also required
Knowledge of architecture methodologies and design documentation
Willing to work in other Open Source Tools and technologies if required
Roles Responsibilities
Help to write and optimize in-application and BI system SQL statements
Be aware of potential blocking, deadlocking and write code to avoid those situations
Strong proficiency with SQL and its variation among popular databases. (e.g. Postgres / SQL Server)
Reviewing query performance and optimizing code
Designing and coding database tables to store the applications data / DW Data
Capable of troubleshooting common database issues
Develop reports in Pentaho BI platform
Design, Develop and Deploy Reports into servers
Identify and write best possible code in case of new deployments or when rewriting code when migrating to newer version of Pentaho Report Server
Participate in discussions involving the application creation and understand the requirements and deliver the reporting capabilities
Prepare documentations and specifications
Collaborate with other teams such as Database, ETL to deliver reporting and cube solution
