Position Manager - Design Development (Team handling role) Department Radiator Products Industry Auto Ancillary Experience 10 years Preferred Experienced in Any auto components Design development, Radiator components design will be an exact fit. Knowledge Hands on experience on APQP process, GD T ,DFMEA, Any Design software (Auto-Cad / Pro E / UG / Catia). Knowledge on plastics, sheet metal and machining process. JD - Design and Development of Metal Plastic Radiator Caps, Mini caps Oil filler cap and Fuel filler caps, Water Outlet assembly inline to the Customer Specific Requirements. - Product Process Flow, Failure mode and effects analysis (DFMEA and PFMEA) Control Plan and related APQP and PPAP as per QS -9000 ISO/TS 16949 2002. - Design Review and Verification (FEA RP Development). - Development of Test Jigs for Testing and Validation with respect to Product Specification/customer requirement/Standards. - Engineering change management (Product Upgradation), Problem solving - 5 W techniques, PM Analysis. - Cost reduction using Value Engineering, Alternate Material and Alternate sourcing. - Creation of Material Master, Bill of Materials (BOM) - in SAP, System upgradation. - Updating Record Maintenance of National, International Customer specific standards. - In charge for Vendor Development, follow up and cost negotiation for new products
